NL 1 is a bogie van modelled on one of four built in 1927 for the Southern Railway by J & F Howard. Originally constructed with double diagonal cross members they were soon rebuilt to the form depicted by the kits. The van kit is complete with PECO 9mm gauge wheelsets and vacuum brake pipes. NL 5 is modelled on
the original rolling stock of the L & B. These wagons were numbered 12 &
13 and proved to be extremely popular and a number of variants were
produced in later years. The wagons underwent some modifications during
their lifetime and it is in their final form, with small side hung doors,
that the wagons are reproduced. |

NL 10 Another type
of bogie open wagon, four of these were built by the same makers. The wagons were substantially
constructed and included a tarpaulin rail. |

NL 25 This kit is modelled
on the two brake vans built for the L & B. Numbered 5 & 14 they originally
had open guards verandas. The open ends were soon enclosed with end
windows and glazed side doors. |
